Responsibilities
Wellstone Regional Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children, and the Adult population. In addition to our in-patient services, we offer out-patient programs as well. Wellstone is currently searching for an experienced Director of Risk Management. Website: https://www.wellstonehospital.com The Director of Risk, Regulatory and Compliance is responsible for ensuring the facility's programs are in compliance with all regulatory agencies, TJC, and state and federal agencies. The Privacy officer is responsible for managing risks related to information/privacy laws and regulations. The compliance officer is responsible for ensuring that the organization adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. The Risk Director is responsible identifying risks to the hospital and developing strategies to mitigate them. The Regulatory Director is responsible for keeping track of how well the hospital is complying with its contractual obligations and other legal requireents. Qualifications Requirements: Education: Bachelors Degree required Master's Degree preferred from an accredited college or university. Experience: One (1) year experience in risk management/quality at minimum within an acute psychiatric treatment setting; behavioral health experience preferred; 1 year senior management experience required. Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of TJC, DMHA, OIG, HCFA, OSHA and Patient Rights standards, and any other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
