IT Application Service Manager (Multiple Locations/Remote)
Job description
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure a safe work environment for the IT team and promote safety within the department
- Development of the IT team, actively coach to achieve identified skills, clarify roles and responsibilities as needed
- Manage the execution of daily IT support services including incident management and demand management
- Lead IT initiatives, deliver on-time results, stay within budget, and meet the overall business requirements
- Ensure projects are managed with the Billerud Project Delivery Process (PDP). This includes requirements gathering, work schedules, project communication, business justification, on-going support planning, training and rollout plans, collaboration with impacted IT groups, and successful delivery of project benefits.
- Manage and monitor the software licensing for the applications in scope
- Participate as an active member of the IT Leadership Team for the designated functional area and represent IT's interests and requirements as part of the business leadership team
- Establish and maintain business partnerships to understand operational goals, issues, and strategy and prioritize business requests
- Ensure adherence to the standard processes and systems at the manufacturing or business locations
- Provide thought leadership on IT strategies involving IT applications and infrastructure
- Participate in mill on-call rotation

- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing related IT environment with a some supervisory experience

- BA/BS or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Management, Engineering or related degree
Personal qualities
Required skills:
- Must have knowledge and practical skills with information technology within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated track record of project delivery in a complex, fast paced environment
- Proven project management skills with experience in a formalized process and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects at one time
- Experience with process documentation and process redesign
- Must possess leadership skills to help coach and develop IT teams
- Must work well within a team environment and be results driven to achieve organizational goals
- Must have solid communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and perform under pressure
- Must have a great attention to detail
- Travel to Billerud locations required 10-15%
