Responsibilities

The Senior Content Strategist enhances the credit union's brand through the creation of compelling, member-focused written content. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that aligns with our brand and drives business growth across multiple channels and platforms.
The Senior Content Strategist should be a strong storyteller and collaborator that can work closely with other business units within and outside of Marketing, make recommendations for and implement the most effective, engaging content for current and potential members. This role requires a general understanding of Marketing analytics so that content performance can be monitored, and strategies can be adjusted based on insights.
Key responsibilities including but not limited to:
* Content Strategy & Planning: Developing and implementing content strategy that supports brand awareness, member engagement and business goals.
* Content Creation & Management: Writing, editing and overseeing the production of content for blog posts, testimonials, social media, member communications, video scripts and other marketing materials, as needed.
* Blog Management: Maintaining the Members 1st blog and ensuring materials are updated, as needed
* Content Optimization: Collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure content is optimized for search engines, readability and conversion, using best practices in SEO and UX writing.
* Maintenance of Brand Standards: Ensuring that all content has a consistent brand voice and meets applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.

* Strong writing and editing skills
* Familiarity with AP Style

* Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and prioritize work
* In-depth knowledge of credit union standards, policies and regulations

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
* Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
* Visually able to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
* Ability to sit for extended time periods
* Sufficient manual skill for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment
* Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
* Ability to exert minimum amounts of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects

We are excited to offer a competitive salary for this position. This figure serves as the entry point in our salary range, and there is potential for the actual salary to be higher based on a variety of factors, such as your experience, skills, education, and location. We believe in recognizing and rewarding talent, so our compensation packages are thoughtfully designed to reflect the unique qualifications and contributions of each candidate.


The minimum salary for this position is:

$60,000/yr
