Project Title: Fuel Margin Analysis Modeling for 500 Sunoco Gas Stations

Project Details: Build an Excel model with current and historical Sales and Cost of Sales data for each fuel grade at 500 Sunoco Gas Stations. Project will require:

* Extracting Sales and Cost of Sales data from SAP.

* Organizing data by store location, grade of fuel, sales, cost of sales.

* Calculating margin (cents per gallon) and compare to previous months.

* Analyzing to identify anomalies based in trend data to determine whether sales or cost of sales is outside of normal parameters.

Bonus Opportunity: build dashboard in Power BI to display data for all 500 locations.

* Duration: March 2022 - May 2022

* Up to 10 hours per week

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:



  • Currently an undergraduate student
  • Preferably majoring in Accounting or a related major
  • Expected graduation date of May 2026 or May 2027
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Highly motivated and team-oriented
  • Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in use of Excel, and interest in further expanding Excel skills

1. Usually, normal office working conditions.
2. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
