Genesis10 is seeking a Printer Technician for our client in the Travel/Transportation Services Industry. This is anticipated to be a Long-Term Contract opportunity located in Dallas, TX. 75202. This is a 100% on site position W2 Status: Only candidates available and ready to work directly as employees will be considered for this position. No Visa candidates can be considered at this time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Printer Technician (Tier 1, 2, or 3) to provide on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of Lexmark Laser printers and other related hardware. This role requires hands-on technical troubleshooting, excellent customer service, and the ability to ensure printers remain operational across the organization. The ideal candidate should be proactive in maintaining printers and providing end-user support for related hardware, including monitors, mice, and other peripherals. Key Responsibilities (Dependent on Tier Level): Install, configure, and maintain Lexmark printers and multifunction devices across the organization. Diagnose and @repair mechanical and technical issues, including firmware upgrades and connectivity problems. Provide basic technical support for printers, monitors, mice, and other computer hardware. Regularly check printers to preemptively service them with toner, imaging units, and necessary software/hardware adjustments. Act as the company representative and escort contract printer technicians, ensuring all service and repairs are completed efficiently. Maintain an inventory of spare parts and order replacements as needed. Provide high-quality customer service to end users, ensuring they have functional and optimized printing solutions. Communicate issues and solutions effectively with team members. Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs when needed. Travel regularly to various company sites using a company vehicle. Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in printer maintenance and troubleshooting. Tier 1 technicians will primarily assist with escorting and toner replacement. Tier 2 technicians must have experience diagnosing and fixing printer issues Tier 3 will act as the Printer Technician Expert (third party contractor will not be requested at this level) and must have experience repairing the printer circuit boards. Certifications; (Preferred): Lexmark Printer Certification; (Required). CompTIA A+ Technical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and maintain Lexmark laser printers, upgrade firmware, and diagnose connectivity issues. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and professional communication, and customer service oriented. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
