Operations Control Center Manager - 5x2 - Lake Charles, LA

Job Description:

The Operations Control Center Manager reports directly to the Service Delivery Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the OCC, ensuring the department runs efficiently, is compliant with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee and supervise entire OCC staff.
  • Ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective management of company personnel and aircraft operations.
  • Plan, organize, schedule and direct through Shift Supervisors, the activities of the Scheduling and Flight Following Departments.
  • Ensure department accountability on all levels for compliance with policies and maintaining the high standards established.
  • Monitor and report on performance management and continuous improvement in the OCC.
  • Establish and maintain policy and procedural changes specific to the OCC.
  • Oversee pilot and training scheduling.
  • Ensure close collaboration and excellent communication with maintenance department for the purpose of scheduling maintenance events.
  • Develop and maintain the OCC's operating systems.
  • Assist with audits and customer specific reports.
  • Work closely with the Safety Department to manage OCC staff responsibilities as they relate to ERP activities.
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.

  • Analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data for reports and recommend solutions to maintenance issues that affect the day-to-day operations of the business.

  • Identifies and constructively addresses interpersonal conflict, disagreements, or confrontations, and facilitates communication between involved parties to minimize personal impact.
  • Assigns tasks and responsibilities to others in a fair and consistent manner, providing clear instruction and direction.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Position requires knowledge of OCC and the business.
  • Must have knowledge of office administrative procedures, operation, and use of standard office equipment.
  • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
