In this role you will have the opportunity to be a part of the design process for all new and existing products from concept to production.

What You Will Do
* Manage/ own Customer sample requirement and delivery process
* Participate in the definition and planning of project milestones and deliverables, manage these deliverables as directed, and ensure assigned project engineering team stays on track.
* Regularly update project status and share with stakeholders.
* Prepare & verify initial cost calculation (ICC) before submission to program manager.
* Monitor costs associated with assigned project.
* Liaise with suppliers, tool makers, sales managers and customers for matters relating to assigned project.
* Assists to drive & ensure project plan execution is on time.
* Coordinate the resolution of design and manufacturing related issues discovered during the project phases.
* Assist the Team as required, to carry out special projects, recommend procedures/steps to improve efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
* Assist the Team as required in the support of production and the development of new products through reviews, root cause analysis, corrective action, discrepancy handling, lessons learned and defect prevention.
* Assist the Program / Project Managers in the creation and maintenance of the Program, timing, and Action Item list to ensure deliverables and milestones are met based on agreed customer timing.
* Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.
* Generate/facilitate documentation per processes and quality requirements.
* Assist in the creation/implementation of the processes and documentation for all new projects.
* Other work or responsibilities as assigned from time to time by senior team members.

Who You Are
* Bachelor's degree in business or other applicable discipline
* Experience supporting multiple projects and timelines in a highly organized manner and in a fast paced environment
* Ability to travel internationally up to 10% to support various project builds at the manufacturing site.

What Puts You Ahead

* Knowledge of design/ product development process
* Experience with Microsoft Project
* Experience and knowledge in manufacturing processes
* Previous experience in an engineering role a plus
* Automotive experience
