Job Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the coordination of complex programs that span multiple projects and business functions. This position ensures the seamless execution of high-impact initiatives across the organization, managing cross-functional teams and working closely with senior leadership to drive successful outcomes in an agile environment.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of medium to large-scale programs, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives and business goals, while employing scaled agile frameworks to deliver results efficiently.
  • Translate business targets into execution strategy (tactical and critical), lead and successfully execute the strategy through strong partnership and agile leadership.
  • Coordinate and oversee project teams across various departments (e.g., Marketing, IT, Finance, Operations, etc.) and third-party vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, tracking progress, managing dependencies, and ensuring timely resolution of roadblocks.
  • Proactively manage risks and issues, escalating when necessary, and ensuring corrective actions are taken to keep the program on track.
  • Lead and facilitate program meetings and agile ceremonies ensuring that teams remain accountable for deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective change management and process improvement strategies are employed throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the program management function.
  • Support program financial management by overseeing budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of company resources.
  • Ensure effective stakeholder management, balancing competing priorities, and aligning teams to deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs) for program success.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
  • Generally 5-7 years of experience in program or project management with a proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience in leading large-scale programs with multiple stakeholders and teams using scaled agile is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading large-scale ERP implementations, preferably with modern ERP solutions such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O), is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work with all levels in the Organization and present and lead meetings with Director/VPs/C-suite.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and experience adapting project management techniques based on the needs of the program.
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, third-party contractors, and external partnerships.
  • Strong problem-solving and risk management skills, with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to manage dynamic changes in an agile environment.
  • 5+ years large-scale ERP implementation experience, preferably with Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Experience managing ERP conversion projects by effectively creating and executing project plans and driving results across team members. Experience leading team members across multiple functions.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and full SDLC.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership, change management, and vendor management skills. Experience working with third party implementers.
  • Proactive risk and issue management skills to ensure expected project outcomes are achieved on time and within budget, scope and expected quality.
  • Experience in wholesale distribution industry a plus.
