Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: As the Senior Director of Retail North America Store Development, you are responsible for providing an outstanding brand and consumer experience across our market retail and franchise portfolio by leading the US and Canada Store Development organization, including Concept Design, Consumer Journey, Construction, Facilities and Vendor Management. The role is responsible for building and remodelling NAM stores in alignment with the Global Standards and managing the respective CAPEX. Responsible for compliance with the market's health & safety policy and procedures, including compliance with legal regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Directly manages NAM Store Development and Design professionals and CAPEX budget.
- Partners with the Sr. Director of Real Estate and Finance in managing the BPM process and ensuring that all construction related costs are captured appropriately in strategic financial submissions.
- Oversee all strategic and operational pre-construction and construction processes, including capital improvements, construction of new spaces and remodels of existing spaces, ensuring timely and cost effective construction and delivery on new and/or existing retail locations.
- Accountable for utilizing a system of controls within the construction process to guarantee effective and efficient use of internal and external resources.
- Leads and monitors the retail implementations, processes and service structure, ensuring health & safety measures are followed at all times.
- Leads the coordination of Store Development, Merchandising, Retail Sales Development, Marketing and Visual Merchandising for the planning and implementation period of new stores and refits.
- Manages multiple implementation projects within market at various stages of implementation:
- planning and coordination of fixtures and fixture orders,
- ensuring the business registration and job safety over a defined period,
- ordering all necessary services and materials
- Defines & sets service level agreements with all Store Development related maintenance partners for later management by the Facilities and Vendor Management team.
- Implements Store Concepts in line with concept documentation, guideline and commercial KPIs.
- Monitors and tackles quality issues in real time using provided standardized processes & documents.
- Manages & signs off all installations per market, provides documentation with required detail.
- Guarantees that all projects are within budgets, in store openings, closures and refits as well as generate efficiency.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in project management for the building industry, civil engineering or architecture or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 8+ year's multi-national Retail Store Development or architectural engineering experience
- 8+ years project management experience and/or leadership experience
- Exposure to Store Operations & Visual Merchandising beneficial
