Utilizing the Flexible Workforce concept and Skills Assessment program, General Warehouse Employees can be asked, at any point throughout the day, to move to a different department and even different physical location to assist in meeting production requirements to meet the customers' demands. Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, safety rules and memos. Ability to write legibly and effectively communicate one-on-one. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Other skills and abilities: Basic computer and keyboarding skills and the ability to learn WMS. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; bend; and use hands and arms to feel, grasp, reach and lift. The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
