Job Description

The Engineering 360 team plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating comprehensive, end-to-end delivery within the Acceptance Solutions organization. Our primary goal is to manage end to end to end delivery via well-groomed technical requirements, streamlined planning and prioritization processes, and ensuring seamless delivery across regional, strategic client, and technology programs on an enterprise-wide scale. By managing intake requests, addressing cross-portfolio dependencies, and enhancing communication channels, we strive to boost efficiency, transparency, and accountability to produce and release cutting edge, reliable, safe, secure payment solutions. Our team is dedicated to delivery on roadmap commitments, and driving continuous improvement through the use of AI, automation, and advanced tooling.

This Lead Technical Program Manager position in the Acceptance Solutions Engineering 360 Portfolio Orchestration group requires an experienced professional with strong technical experience and skill sets who understands how to bring all the key technology and platform components and services together to make sure we can deliver scalable and robust products and solutions. The ideal candidate should have the ability to envision and manage all key activities and dependencies, resolve technical challenges between the different functional groups - Product, Operations & Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Product Development (PD). Drive Project Intake requests, milestone planning, dependency management, cross portfolio coordination and stakeholder communications. Ability to flex between the strategic and the tactical, understanding of the technical design and be able to resolve any technical issues or problems that may arise. Require outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and a high level of energy and flexibility to get things done and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented technology environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage the intake of work from strategic clients and regions to ensure alignment of client needs with our product portfolio capabilities
    • Evaluate and promote clear, unambiguous requirements with clear, easy to measure outcomes
    • Partner with client-facing teams to ensure clear definition of value and alignment with organizational objectives
    • Partner with product teams to ensure idea suitability for product roadmaps.
    • Partner with tech leads to ensure technical feasibility and capability within portfolio
  • Coordinate and manage cross-portfolio programs and their dependencies. I ensure seamless execution and delivery across multiple product lines, technology upgrades, migrations, security remediations and compliance gaps.
    • Take project requests from ideation, through intake, then into effective planning & prioritization across portfolios
    • Create crossportfolioprogram plans and communication plans
    • Track programs against plan, risk and dependency management, adapt to change and re-baseline plan when needed
    • Ask thoughtful technical and operational questions to help bring the entire program plan together and execute in the most effective way
  • Enhance internal and external communication to keep stakeholders informed. Provide transparent and comprehensive reporting to support decision-making.
    • Create stakeholder reports that provide consistency in format, clarity in message, and accuracy in information
    • Provide the ability to self-serve reporting via existing tools, and across various user roles, i.e. live roadmaps for clients / regions in Jira Align
    • Provide transparency into intake backlogs, Epic creation and regional / client priorities before quarterly planning cycles
    • Promote, create, and maintain multi-quarter roadmaps for portfolios, regions, clients and technology programs
  • Promote and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team and organization. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance portfolio management
    • Dismantle not fit-for-purpose processes by identify and eliminating waste in intake, planning, and program execution
    • Leverage AI and automation to reduce or eliminate tedious work and provide time back for training and development
    • Lead retrospectives, generate and drive org-wide roadmap of improvements, promote 'inspect and adapt' culture in E360, across portfolios, and within portfolios
    • Encourage hands-on involvement by advocating and participating in coding, POCs, etc.
  • Monitor Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to measure success, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive performance improvements
  • Influence change that increases team performance at a sustainable pace

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

* Minimum of Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

* 12-15 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or

* 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or

* 6+ years of work experience with a PhD

* Deep knowledge of technology, software development life cycle, engineering operations, platform components & services, databases, etc.

* Good prioritization, negotiation and communication skills

* Experience with other Lean/Agile framework and methods, i.e.: Kanban, SAFe, XP, etc

* Strong written and oral communication skills

* Decisive but inclusive decision making in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to work independently with light supervision

* Proficient in at least one agile project management tool: Rally, Jira, Version One, etc. Jira/Jira Align preferred

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 160,600.00 to 232,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
