We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to provide operational support and management for the NCCoE network environment. This role will involve patching, vulnerability management, systems engineering, and capacity planning to ensure the smooth functioning and security of the network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both virtual and physical network environments, specifically with Cisco and Palo Alto Network equipment, and will have the ability to engage with customers and users to understand their requirements and provide strategic solutions. Additionally, you will participate in engineering reviews and architectural discussions to ensure alignment with overall infrastructure objectives. Established in 2012 through a partnership between the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the State of Maryland and Montgomery County, the (NCCoE) is dedicated to furthering innovation through the rapid identification, integration and adoption of practical Cybersecurity solutions. The NCCoE is part of the NIST Information Technology Laboratory and operates in close collaboration with the Computer Security Division. Responsibilities
