Your Job
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our team at Molex. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. This role will involve collaborating with various teams to support network-related projects and initiatives. We are looking to hire a Jr. and a Sr. Engineer What You Will Do * Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems. * Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation. * Develop and enforce network policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and security. * Collaborate with the Network Operations Center, Network Product Team, and other departments to support network-related projects and initiatives. * Stay up to date with the latest network technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement. * Provide technical support and guidance to junior network engineers and other team members. * Document network configurations, changes, and incidents to maintain accurate records. * Operate with a systems design mindset, driving towards utility service experience and proactive improvements. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * 2-7+ years proven experience in network engineering, with a strong understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues. * Experience with network monitoring and management tools, as well as network security best practices. * Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. What Will Put You Ahead * Familiarity with Agile and Scrum. * Experience in network and security. * Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices. * Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent. * Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. * Knowledge of cloud networking and virtualization technologies. * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. * Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. For this role, we anticipate paying $85,000 - $130,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form. At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
