You'll work with on-premises and modern cloud infrastructure, along with a variety of SaaS applications, optimizing them for performance and reliability, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and providing user support. This position is based at our state-of-the-art headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin. You'll have a hybrid schedule, generally working in the office three days a week and remotely two days a week. Job Responsibilities

On a day-to-day basis, you may do the following.



  • Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and SaaS applications.


  • Develop, script, and maintain automation tools to enhance operational efficiency and streamline workflows.


  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for IT services and systems.


  • Monitor system performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.


  • Conduct regular system audits and generate reports on system performance.


  • Help plan and execute system upgrades and migrations.


  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.


  • Recommend technology options that provide long-term business value.


  • Identify tactical technology alternatives and workarounds when necessary to maintain user productivity.


  • Improve the delivery of services and solutions.


  • Work with IT and security engineers, IT support staff, and other cross-functional team members to ensure assigned projects are completed timely and have met stated business requirements.


  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

A highly qualified candidate will possess the following.

Education and Experience



  • Knowledge equivalent to a degree in information systems or a related field.


  • Five or more years of experience in IT systems administration and support, with a focus on SaaS and cloud technologies.


  • Strong knowledge of networking and infrastructure management.


  • Familiarity working in a code repository.


  • Experience with any of the following: automation and configuration management tools, scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell), legacy Microsoft domain management, backup and restoration systems (e.g., Veeam), and desktop management.
