Department: SH Diagnostic Radiology
Position type: Full Time, 36 hours/week
Schedule: Monday - Wednesday, 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

What you'll do:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging and assist with technical troubleshooting.

  • Provide daily leadership and support to technologists during assigned shifts.

  • Monitor workflow, prioritize tasks, and adjust resources to maintain efficiency and patient care standards.

  • Serve as a point of contact for escalated issues, problem-solving, and interdepartmental communication.

  • Mentor team members, fostering a positive, collaborative work culture.

  • Assist with staff scheduling, break coverage, and coordination of equipment use.

  • Promote and model adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and departmental policies.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to team-based solutions .

Background/expertise:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • ARRT National Radiology license required within 1 year of hire
  • Basic Life Support required within 90 days of hire
  • Radiology Technologist license by the OBMI required
  • 3-5 years Radiologic Technologist experience preferred
  • Must be capable of handling all imaging equipment
  • Must have good interpersonal communication skills
