Position Purpose |
The Admissions Operations and Front Desk Specialist plays an integral role in shaping the first impressions of Tuck Admissions and Financial Aid by fostering a professional, organized, and welcoming environment. This position supports the seamless delivery of admissions services through effective coordination of visitor engagement, communications, and operational logistics. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations and an exceptional experience for all stakeholders by managing key administrative functions and contributing to departmental projects. |

Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities |
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills; proficient in office software (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems (e.g., Slate).
- Ability to manage communications across various platforms (phone, email, chat) and provide excellent customer service to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with institutional, federal, and state regulations, including FERPA.

Description |
Front Desk and Visitor Management:
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors; monitor inquiries across phone, email, chat, and in-person channels and ensure timely responses; provide guidance on admissions, campus visits, and application status.
- Provide support front-office support for the campus visit program, including, but not limited to, welcoming visitors and coordinating class visits, interviews, and events.
- Maintain a well-organized, professional reception area and manage visitor scheduling and traffic.
- Explain and interpret Dartmouth College or Tuck School of Business policies and procedures as needed.

Administration/General:
- Provide administrative support for Admissions and Financial Aid, including meeting planning, expense reports, travel coordination, and report preparation.
- Assist with virtual and in-person admissions events, including visitor management and coordination.
- Schedule meetings and appointments with applicants, students, faculty, and staff.
- Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with FERPA, privacy laws, and accreditation standards through audits and best practices.
- Improve efficiency through technology, data analytics, and workflow enhancements.
- Support enrollment goals through special projects and cross-functional collaboration.
