Responsibilities

Peraton has a great opportunity for an Integrated Master Scheduler in Herndon, VA supporting a host of civil and government space customers. You will be working in a rewarding, mission focused environment, contributing to the protection and defense of national space assets.

Responsibilities of the position:

    The person in this role will work with program office stakeholders and partners to ensure quality inputs and baseline integrity aligning with government and company standards.
  • The ideal candidate is a motivated team player who understands how to effectively and independently drive timely and accurate support of the IMS, using MS Project.
  • We are seeking a critical thinker with expertise in scheduling best practices and compliance, able to make recommendations for alternative ways to view program information enabling program management decisions.
  • On-site work required for this position.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Associates degree and 10+ years of experience; OR Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience; Twelve years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

  • 4+ years of MS Project experience, preferably with a software or system engineering background.
  • Experience working with Program leadership to identify project slack and dependencies, develop, analyze, and manage schedules that comply with a program's Statement of Objectives (SOO), Technical Performance Requirements (TPRs), Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS), and the Contract Statement of Work (CSOW).
  • Experience establishing and monitoring the execution of the program towards milestones, key events, and significant accomplishment criteria.
  • Experience applying data analytics skills to simplify technical requirements, establish metrics, and apply data visualization through different formats and tools.
  • Must have experience in communicating with all levels of management.
  • This position may require the candidate to obtain a Top Secret /SCI clearance with ability to pass a polygraph at customers request
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to pass the background check and drug screening

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira tool or equivalent tracking systems
  • Experience with enterprise architecture, application planning, and deployment.

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
