The core of this work involves a major revamp and consolidation of our Customer Information Systems (CIS); Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), Advanced Billing System (ABS), and Meter Data Management tools.

This complex challenge is anticipated to span 3 - 4 years during the initial testing and eventual production and implementation phases.For this project to succeed, we will need critical and dedicated resources who are creative, collaborative, energetic and analytical in providing change management support for major initiatives to ensure that the workforce is prepared for technology, process, and organizational changes.

Position Summary

Assess change management needs and design change management plans that support organizational readiness for change, both pre and post project deployment. In partnership with project managers and business sponsors, execute change management plans that include coordinated Learning, Communication and Engagement activities. May partner with Learning and Communications teams to implement plans. Drive the sustained adoption of change to maximize effectiveness and benefits of change initiatives. Work with project teams to incorporate change management activities into the overall project plan. Identify communication and training opportunities and approaches to facilitate understanding and to garner support for change. Review training and communication plans and deliverables to ensure they meet the needs of the project. May develop and implement communication plans on smaller rate projects and programs.This individual will be viewed as an integral strategic partner to the business who can drive change management and communicate technology and process related decisions to a broad audience across the organization.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and the Oakland General Office(OGO) 3 days a week and or based on business needs.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of thejob posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will bebased on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience,market value, geographic location, and internal equity.Although we estimatethe successful candidate hiredinto this rolewill beplaced between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis related tothese factors.This job is also eligible to participate inPG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.

A reasonable salary range is:

Bay Area Minimum: $159,000

Bay Area Maximum:$271,000

Job Responsibilities:

Lead Organizational Readiness activities, deliverables and communicate the vision, plans, dependencies and critical path.

Develop detailed change management strategy, approaches, plans and tactics for major company- wide change management initiatives that have company-wide impact.

Highly collaborative, able to work cross- functionally; possessing the ability to forge relationships and partner effectively

Support Executive engagement, status updates and communications.

Escalate relevant risks and issues to the program team, key stakeholders and steering committee.

Document and raise OR risks and dependencies.

Develop Communication, Business Readiness, Training and Proficiency approach and strategies and align overall OR approach to vision and case for change.

Manage day to day communications between OR Tower, other Towers and Steering Committee

Consult on industry leading practices and lessons learned, as applicable.

Has subject matter knowledge of policies, procedures, and people related across all functional areas.

Has ability to manage targeted engagement activities, build commitment, advocacy, and leadership alignment around the program and new processes/procedures.

Coordinate across enterprise departments and vendor communications network.

Able to consult with and develop officer-level relationships. Evaluate and develop new change management tools, processes, and procedures for the department.

Acts as a liaison and conduit for information flow between the project teams, as well as with appropriate business stakeholders; manages the efficient and effective resolution of issues.

Manages employees, contractors and vendors for the efficient delivery of services

Coach, mentor, and train other Change Management Consultants.

Qualifications

Minimum:

Bachelors Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experience

Experience as Organizational Change Manager, large projects, 2 years

Experience in IT-Information Technology and/or Customer Experience, 6 years

Desired:

Masters Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experience

Utility industry experience, regulated

Prosci or other OCM related certification

Knowledge of Lean working best practices
