Make your mark at the world's largest HVAC company Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Planner Scheduler I. This role provides support to planning and scheduling functions for manufacturing equipment and inventory requirements. Shift: 1st shift, 6am-2pm What you will do: Provide administrative support to production and inventory control functions Review completed sales orders for accuracy and expedite paperwork related to sales orders Contact vendors related to on-time delivery dates Maintain electronic or paper files and records of current and potential suppliers, materials, prices, delivery dates and inventories Prepare materials and supplies purchase orders Analyze quotes and expedite deliveries and shipments as needed Process change orders, notify vendors of material and quantity requirement revisions, contact vendors regarding rate adjustments and incorrect materials Provide data as requested to forecast estimates and schedules of goods in process and needs for future orders Provide input to schedules, inventory reports, surplus stock lists, production specifications, and plant capacity data as requested Assist with maintaining records of in-house and on-order material Other duties as assigned What's in it for you: Medical/Dental/Vision coverage, PTO, 401K match, support for community involvement and much more The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best Qualifications: Associate degree, Technical Degree or equivalent 1 year of related experience Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position Benefits: Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance 401K retirement plan with employer match Paid time off and company paid holidays Paid sick time in accordance with the federal, state, and local law Tuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service The typical pay for this position ranges from $19.38-$28.51 in Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
