Job Description:
  • Serves as the project manager for a large, complex task order (or a group of task orders affecting the same common/standard/migration system) and shall assist the Synergy leadership in working with the task order-level Task Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives.
  • Responsible for overall management of specific task order(s), ensuring timely implementation of technical solutions and schedules.
  • Performs enterprise-wide horizontal integration planning and interfaces with other functional systems.
  • Cultivates a growth-oriented environment and builds strong relationships to win and shape new work opportunities.
Key Tasks, Qualifications, and Certifications:
  • Strong working experience in project management with a demonstrated growth mindset
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Proven ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing contracts
  • Experience in fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptability
  • Strong skills in Agile development methodologies and their application in government projects
  • Demonstrated success in managing deliverables, milestones, and project risks
  • Experience in resource utilization optimization and team development
  • Proficiency in providing project status reports at various organizational levels
  • Strong track record of managing project schedules and budgets effectively
  • Experience in performance tracking and implementing process improvements
  • Ability to think strategically and align project goals with broader organizational objectives
Additional Requirements:
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum Experience: 6 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in government contracting
  • Certifications: PMP or equivalent project management certification required; Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, CSPO) preferred

Compensation for roles at Synergy varies depending on a wide variety of factors including but not limited to the requirements of the role; education and certifications; knowledge, training, skills and abilities; level of experience; geographic location; and alignment with market data, law, and other business and organizational needs. As required by local law, the posted pay range represents the lowest to the highest pay that Synergy believes in good faith it might pay for this particular job, depending on the circumstances. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $150,000 - $170,000.

Essential Job Function Physical Requirements: The physical requirements of this position are critical in evaluating the qualifications and abilities of an applicant or employee.
