While reporting to the Plant Manager, the Plant Engineer is responsible for achieving the highest level of reliability for plant equipment through committed support for the Maintenance Excellence process within their plant. What you'll be doing:
- You will provide leadership to ensure a safety-first approach, while achieving the highest standards of equipment performance. This involves ensuring that maintenance personnel performing work within the plant possess the appropriate skills, and are provided the tools, and the environment needed for success.
- You will promote a culture in which the maintenance team and production work together to identify and resolve equipment conditions that could negatively impact safety, quality or productivity.
- You will ensure that maintenance personnel skills are proficient to perform safely and effectively. If needed you will offer coaching, mentoring, and training.
- You will serve as the Champion of Maintenance Excellence (ME) process and serve as the Maintenance Excellence Leader for the plant.
- You will establish a preventive process to identify potential equipment problems and equipment failures and hold maintenance personnel accountable for adherence to established standards and management expectations.
- You will manage cost and reduce/ optimize where needed.
- You will work with Plant SPS (TPM) committee to achieve zero-losses by creating an environment where personnel are fully engaged.
- You will be personally involved with technical details of action plans and verify that corrective actions are timely and effective.
- You will lead with a focus on deliverables aligned with Plant goals and KPI's.
This position is located at our Tiffin, Ohio plant site, near Findlay, Ohio. We'd love to hear from you if:
- We expect you to have 5+ years of Maintenance Management experience in a manufacturing environment to include TPM experience.
- ME or EE Degree highly preferred. Other education to include basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, PLC, instrumentation, and predictive maintenance understanding. Highly prefer Degreed ME.
- You must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- The successful candidate will have proven experience mentoring, coaching and developing a team.
Compensation: The annual base salary range for this role is from $116,160 to $130,680, plus a quarterly target bonus of 12.5% of base salary. #LI-TW1
