We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Design Engineer to join our New Product Development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing technology and a passion for innovation. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing new motor products from concept to production. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop manufacturing processes for new platform motor designs and customer-specific designs. Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to determine the best manufacturing methods. Design and implement production workflows, equipment, and tooling. Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Investigate and propose potential areas for automation during the new product development process as well as with newly launched programs. Develop process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issues. Design and implement tooling to facilitate building motor components, prioritizing safety, quality, and productivity. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology. Provide technical support and training to production staff. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably with new product development experience. Proficiency in CAD software. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, equipment, and tooling design. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization. Willingness to travel up to 25%.
