Systems Administrator

Assured Information Security has an opening for Systems Administrator I and II. These are onsite positions located in the National Business Park (NBP) and require a TS/SCI w/FS Poly.

What You'll Do:
* Work with our government customers to understand their requirements, schedules, and priorities.
* Support maintenance of the development environment for the team.
* Work directly with ISSOs to ensure that the environment remains compliant with all security directives (including IAVAs, IAVMs, and STE/STN playbooks).

Education/Experience/Skillset Required:
* Bachelor's degree in technical field and 5 years' System Administrator experience (SA I) and 10 years' experience (SA II)
* Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux operating systems and related software
* Familiarity building Docker containers and containerization practices
* Experience with or knowledge of Ansible and Puppet
* Experience writing and modifying scripts (Bash, Perl, Python, etc.) to accomplish SA functions
* Installation and maintenance of Linux (RHEL) systems using RPMs
* Integration, optimization, and testing of VMWare and network configurations
* Familiarity with DHCP, DNS, IP, netmasks, gateways, routers, CISCO switches, and network card installations
* Support to hardware integration efforts for an engineering team
* Experience with system hardening, server, and network security
* Demonstrated ability preparing and editing technical documentation

Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/FS Poly

US Salary Range: $120,000 - $145,000 (SA I); $170,000 - $195,000 (SA II)
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package which includes employer paid health insurance and a 7% contribution to your 401k, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
