Description Position Purpose The position will serve as the Outreach Coordinator in the Desert Botanical Garden's Administration department and report to the Senior Director of Social Responsibility & Impact. This position will provide a unique opportunity to assist the SRI department, which consists of the Senior Director and the Diversity Specialist. The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for building new partnerships and enhancing existing ones, focusing on removing barriers to access and expanding opportunities for community engagement. This position will broaden the Gardens' reach and require collaboration with internal teams and external partners to create and manage programs supporting social responsibility initiatives. Additionally, the position includes tracking partnership outcomes, reporting on their impact, and continuously seeking new opportunities to strengthen community relationships. Essential Duties
Hourly Pay Range - $20.00 to $24.00 Requirements
Equipment Used Typical office equipment. Internal Communication Frequent communication with Garden employees. External Communication Regular communication with Garden community partners. This could be in person, via telephone, and/or email. Working Conditions No physical effort beyond what's typically required in a normal office environment. Time periods of high workload may require additional hours. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to walk, sit, stand, stoop, kneel, bend, see, hear, speak, read, and type. Manual dexterity and the ability to lift up to 10 pounds required.
