SUMMARY
We are seeking a Subcontractor Relations Supervisor to centralize, optimize, and enhance our subcontractor management function. This pivotal role will ensure seamless subcontractor integration, cost-effective partnerships, and operational efficiency across our regional branches. By establishing strong subcontractor relationships, enforcing compliance standards, and leveraging data-driven insights, this role will drive subcontractor performance and business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Subcontractor Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain a high-performance subcontractor network by fostering strong, long-term relationships with subcontractors across all regions.
- Serve as the primary liaison between ORR Protection and its subcontracted labor providers, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Collaborate with regional leaders, finance, and operational teams to optimize subcontractor engagement strategies.
- Oversee subcontractor onboarding, contract negotiations, and performance reviews to uphold service excellence.
Contract Negotiation & Cost Optimization
- Lead cost negotiations and strategic sourcing initiatives to drive financial efficiency without compromising quality.
- Analyze market trends and industry benchmarks to inform subcontractor selection and cost structuring.
- Establish scalable and sustainable vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and operational standards.
- Performance & Compliance Management
- Implement performance metrics (KPIs) to measure and enhance subcontractor efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with ORR Protection's safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and operational standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and quality audits, mitigating potential vendor-related operational challenges.
- Operational Efficiency & Continuous Improvement
- Modernize administrative processes, systems, and reporting frameworks to enhance procurement efficiency with subcontractors.
- Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to optimize subcontractor performance and drive informed decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for automation, digital transformation, and process improvement in subcontractor management.
- Develop comprehensive reports that provide leadership with strategic insights and financial forecasts related to subcontractor spend and forecasting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence
- Partner with finance, operations, and branch leadership to align subcontractor strategy with ORR's broader corporate objectives.
- Build cross-functional relationships to improve the integration of subcontractor-related workflows across departments.
- Serve as a thought leader in procurement best practices, contributing to enterprise-wide efficiency initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in supplier relations, procurement, vendor management, or subcontractor operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with the ability to develop financial models and reports.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of securing cost-effective contracts.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and process-driven, with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Preferred:
- Experience managing centralized subcontractor operations in a multi-site environment.
- Supply Chain Management or Procurement Certification (CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent).
- Experience working within a Google Workspace environment.
- Financial acumen with expertise in cost analysis and budget optimization.
