Solution Engineering and Architecture's IPSE Project Manager

The team
As the Project Manager IPSE (Infrastructure Platform Solution Engineering), you will be responsible for coordinating the development, delivery, and ongoing improvements of integrated product solutions across multiple engineering and architecture functions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, sales, and client services to ensure that our products and solutions align with customer needs and company goals.
The role
Program Management:
- Lead and manage end-to-end IPSE programs, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
- Develop detailed project plans and schedules to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of solutions.
- Manage risks and issues, proactively identifying solutions and escalating where necessary.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure resource availability and effective utilization.
Solution Architecture Alignment:
- Collaborate with solution architects to align engineering teams' efforts with customer needs and the technical solution.
- Support the development of system architectures, including integrations, deployments, and scaling.
- Ensure all solution designs are aligned with both current and future customer requirements.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the product, engineering, and operations teams to define the technical requirements and project roadmaps.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including clients and vendors, to ensure that solutions are successfully delivered.
- Coordinate across various functions to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and ensure project success.
Client Engagement & Satisfaction:
- Engage with clients throughout the program lifecycle to understand their needs and ensure that the final solution meets or exceeds their expectations.
- Gather and communicate client feedback to product management and development teams for continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement:
- Develop and improve IPSE program management processes and best practices.
- Drive operational efficiencies and streamline workflows to improve project execution.
- Encourage innovation and contribute to ongoing improvements in solution architecture and engineering practices.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Track program progress and provide regular status updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure proper documentation for each phase of the project, including specifications, design documentation, and user guides.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and clients as needed.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, with at least 2 years specifically focused on solution engineering, architecture, or integrated product solutions.
- Strong background in managing complex, multi-disciplinary technical projects from initiation to delivery.
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and delivering enterprise-scale software or product solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Strong understanding of solution architecture, systems integration, and product engineering principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project).
- Strong customer focus and experience working in a client-facing capacity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- A strategic thinker who can balance both short-term project goals and long-term product objectives.
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach to project and program management.
