Position Title: Core Production
Wage: $17/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-2:30pm (Overtime 5-10 hours) Monday-Friday QPS Employment Group is hiring for a Core Production role in Richmond, IL. This is a contract to hire role. Core Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Final assembly of the transformers and enclosures - Attach welding terminals to coils through brazing or welding depending on work directions - Complete any custom requests for orders - Overhead crane operation Core Production Requirements: - Previous experience with brazing or welding is a plus - Experience with hand and power tools preferred - Stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and move about all shifts - Ability to lift 50 pounds - Occasionally lift, pull, and push; will use the overhead crane as needed - Excellent hand-eye coordination is needed - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
