Job Summary: The System Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing the organization's virtual and on-premises server infrastructure, with a strong focus on Hyper-V and Microsoft Azure environments. This role ensures the reliability, performance, and security of all server systems while implementing best practices for system administration. The ideal candidate will have a security-first mindset, experience working with a Security Operations Center (SOC), and familiarity with Meraki networking hardware. Additionally, the System Administrator will collaborate with IT teams to enforce security policies, manage system updates, and troubleshoot issues, while also working with vendors and end users to support training and implementation as needed. This position requires knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Hyper-V, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 (all included applications), Apple & Android OS, Active Directory, Intune, Microsoft Entra (Azure Active Directory), SCCM, Ticking Systems (ServiceNow), and TeamViewer. A good understanding of networking principles is required. Candidates will need to demonstrate initiative, strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in a team, while also assuming individual responsibility for their work.
