About the Role:

As a Financial Procurement Manager at Worldpay, you'll be at the forefront of our procurement strategy, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. You'll leverage your expertise to build robust relationships with vendors, manage procurement budgets, and develop policies that drive cost savings and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Relationships:
    • Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure a reliable and high-quality supply chain.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and strategic meetings to address any issues and optimize collaboration.
  • Order Approval:
    • Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring they meet compliance standards and align with company objectives.
    • Coordinate the timely delivery of goods and services, monitoring quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Risk Management:
    • Perform comprehensive risk assessments on contracts and agreements, identifying potential issues and developing mitigation strategies.
    • Implement risk management frameworks to safeguard procurement activities and ensure business continuity.
  • Budget Oversight:
    • Manage the procurement budget, tracking expenditures and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
    • Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with vendors to maximize budget efficiency.
  • Policy Implementation:
    • Develop and enforce procurement policies and strategies that support the company's goals and regulatory requirements.
    • Continuously review and update policies to reflect industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Supplier Performance:
    • Evaluate supplier performance against key metrics and standards, ensuring they meet our quality and reliability expectations.
    • Address performance issues promptly and work with suppliers to implement corrective actions.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Perform other related tasks as needed to support the procurement function and contribute to the company's success.

About You:

We're seeking a highly skilled and strategic individual with a deep understanding of Corporate Finance and procurement. You should be adept at managing complex processes, analyzing data, and driving cross-functional collaboration. Your ability to communicate effectively and lead initiatives will be crucial in this role.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 7 years in Corporate Finance, with a focus on management reporting, process optimization, and procurement strategy, ideally within the technology or fintech sectors.
    • Extensive experience in the payments industry, with a strong understanding of global payment systems and trends.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPM) are highly desirable.
  • Communication:
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Leadership:
    • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a proven ability to mentor and guide teams towards achieving strategic goals.
  • Global Experience:
    • Proven track record of working in a global environment, managing international vendor relationships, and understanding cross-border procurement challenges.
  • Adaptability:
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing circumstances.
