Overview

The Associate, Investor Relations is responsible for handling the reporting and requests of RMR Residential's Private Fund Vehicles including the production of the quarterly reporting documents as well as ad-hoc requests, fund analysis, cash flow projections, and quarterly questionnaires. This position will also work on due diligence requests of prospective investors as well as reporting to the Executive Management Team. He/she will work closely with the fund accounting team, asset management, acquisitions, and capital markets.



Responsibilities

    Produce the quarterly reporting documents across the Resdiential Fund Vehicles including quarterly reports, partner capital statements, and property-level reporting.
  • Prepare investor-level capital call and distribution notices.
  • Update and analyze valuation waterfalls for all Fund property investments on a quarterly basis and allocating appreciation changes to the funds.
  • Handle ad-hoc investor requests including providing cash flow projections, fund models, and analysis on valuations and debt.
  • Complete consultant & investor quarterly questionnaires.
  • Maintain key financial tracking documents on property-level debt, valautions, cash flows, & returns.
  • Responsible for detailed knowledge of fund partnership agreements, fund structures, waterfalls, and complex promote/carried interest mechanics.
  • Stay current on property transactions that affect the operation of the funds including acquisitions, dispositions, recapitalizations, refinances, and loan modifications.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 2-5 Years of experience.
  • Investor Relations and/or reporting experience for real estate funds preferred
  • Strong organizational, analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel and all other Microsoft Office applications
