The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.

SPA's NATO Allied Command Transformation Group, within JOID, provides capability development, portfolio management, program management, quality management, cost estimation analysis, standardization, reporting, software solutions and information management, and capability management support. We also provide an improved capability requirements capture process, including the generation, documentation and tracing of user requirements, with appropriate technical scrutiny, over the entire lifecycle of the requirements from capability definition through capability realization and capability usage.

We have a near-term need for a Demonstration Team Technical Analyst to provide onsite support out of NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT) in Norfolk, VA.



Responsibilities

The candidate will be supporting senior NATO command leadership. The NATO Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (SACT) Demonstration Team is a strategic initiative designed to showcase the transformative power of SACT's cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions to a wide range of audiences, including NATO leadership, Nations, International Staff, Military and Civil Institutions, and external stakeholders. The Demo Team will employ a variety of formats to communicate SACT's work, including live demonstrations, simulations, interactive workshops, and digital platforms. The candidate will provide product demonstrations, serve as a technical expert for command products, work in cross-functional teams, address technical inquiries, track key performance indicators related to demonstrations, and provide metrics and reporting from feedback and customer engagement to include key findings, insights, and recommendations for improvement.



Qualifications

Required:

    Bachelor's degree in a field such as Engineering, IT, Marketing, or a related field
  • NATO Secret clearance or national equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical role, such as engineering, IT, or scientific research
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer-facing position, preferably in a technical account or solutions engineering role
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in crafting and executing technical, results-driven communications and campaigns
  • Minimum 2 years working with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, graphic designers, videographers, and PR professionals
  • Proficiency with explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with managing and fostering relationships across all levels

Desired:

  • Experience with international organizations or multinational teams and working in a military or defense environment
  • Experience with AI, virtual, and augmented reality technologies
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Knowledge of NATO structures and procedures
  • Fluency in multiple languages (e.g., French)
