POSITION OVERVIEW dormakaba is seeking a Controller Service based in Indianapolis, IN. The Controller Service is responsible contributing to the North Americas Finance team, partnering with branch managers and supply chain team to support the operations for service and provide meaningful performance insight and drive financial management processes. HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $120,000 - $145,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) plus Short Term Incentive (STI) This position includes a competitive benefits package. - Execute monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting close to ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting of all financial results
- Provide detailed recurring analysis of income statement and balance sheet and meaningful variance explanations business partnering with the service branch network covering driver base variance analysis
- Perform annual budget, standard cost updates and planning processes ensuring integrity of the budgeting and forecasting of Cost of Goods Sold
- Establish a service performance statement methodology enabling driver based variance analysis and profitable growth
- Work with the Service organization to develop realistic financial plans aligned to operational goals and integrate those into the 12-month rolling forecast cadence
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of experience as a Controller or in similar leadership role within Accounting and Finance
- Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, hands-on experience in regular transactions of HFM and SAP (and/or similar ERP system)
- Working knowledge within Business Intelligence (BI) reporting
- Working knowledge in manufacturing environment with standard based accounting system
