Our Integrated Warfare Systems Group comprises more than 100 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, product support, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects in the Navy's Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Office of Naval Research (ONR), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the Navy's Team Submarine Office.MC



Responsibilities

We are seeking a Systems Engineer (SE) to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Integrated Combat Systems Department (V).

You will assist in requirements engineering activities related to Coast Guard combat systems certification, such as review concepts, designs, assess specifications/requirements, perform system integration-related tasks, and conduct system verification and support certification activities.

You must have the ability to provide senior-level briefings and communications and have the ability to work from NSWC Dahlgren 5 days per week with some travel expected (up to 15%).

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Coast Guard experience including demonstrated knowledge of Coast Guard ship classes and combat systems
  • 3+ years experience in Systems Engineering
  • Ability to work from Dahlgren, VA area regularly
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
