Summary of Role

The Senior Revenue Accountant will join Lantheus as a key member of the Corporate Revenue team within the Accounting department, helping to oversee and ensure accuracy of revenue recognition processes, financial processes and adherence to account standards under ASC 606. In collaboration with management, the Senior Revenue Accountant will be responsible for assisting in month-end close processes, maintain responsibility for specific revenue related processes, reconciliations and ensure compliance with controls across the organization. This role will report to the Associate Director, Revenue Accounting within the Controllership team.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions



    • Perform month-end tasks related to revenue, including contract analysis, revenue reconciliations, deferred revenue, unearned revenue, and other revenue adjustments. Ensure all revenue transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with accounting principles and company guidelines. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in timely manner.
    • Assist in ERP transactional processing, data management activities, business intelligence analysis, capabilities and reporting, and other systems utilized by the Finance team.
    • Effectively partner and collaborate with cross functional business teams, including commercial, billing and legal, and all members of our Finance team.
    • Ensure compliance with key controls in the order-to-cash cycle, including timely execution and documentation.
    • Update and maintain the company's revenue recognition policy and SOPs as business processes evolve and accounting standards change
    • Assist in the quarterly and year-end audit process, actively working with internal and external auditors to ensure that the interpretation of revenue recognition accounting standards are consistent and compliant with GAAP
    • Review revenue related financial disclosures and provide support for footnotes in the 10Qs/10Ks.
    • Assist in continuous improvement efforts, optimizing revenue-related processes for scalability, efficiency, and effectiveness in alignment with Lantheus' growth trajectory.
    • Assist in ad-hoc projects as requested


    Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions



    • BA/BS degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience, with Big 4 public accounting preferred
    • Working knowledge of ASC 606 and GAAP revenue recognition requirements
    • Experience in application of internal controls
    • Ability to efficiently work in ERP systems, SAP S/4 HANA experience preferred
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
    • A team player, adept at building relationships across the organization
    • Effective communicator able to convey and present information in a concise and well-organized manner
    • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet challenging deadlines
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint software applications


    Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions



    • Willingness to work weekends to meet deadlines and occasional travel as needed.
    • This position is site-based and requires a presence on-site at least three days per week.
