Job Summary:

This role will work with cutting-edge data analytics technologies primarily within the cloud developing code in a collaborative team environment. This internship consists of real-world projects and deliverables that will give you exposure to a variety of data analytics technologies from a variety of industries. You will have the opportunity to work on client projects that have a real business impact and give you the experience and skills to equip you in your future career. There is also the potential to join our team as a full-time employee after graduation.

Job Duties:

Responsibilities:



  • Interacts with project leaders to define and document project specifications
  • Designs, develops, tests, and implements data analytics or business intelligence solutions, or automation (RPA) solutions
  • Participates in support activities for existing software
  • Cleans and transforms data from source systems into analytics models using SQL and cloud technologies
  • Responsible for data visualization using Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools for data analysis and reporting
  • Partakes in technology training to learn various Data Analytics / Business Intelligence technologies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:



  • Currently attending an accredited college or university, required; focus in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, or Data Science, preferred
  • Academically in good standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, required
  • Currently an actively enrolled Junior / Senior student, preferred


Experience:



  • Three (3) or more months experience with data analytics technologies such as SQL and SQL server, required
  • Classroom programming experience, required


Software:



  • Strong SQL Server skills along with SQL queries and stored procedures, required
  • Experience with one or more the following technologies, preferred:

    • Data Lake Technologies
    • Azure Data Factory or other ELT tools
    • Microsoft Azure SQL, SQL Data Warehouse, or Amazon Redshift
    • Data Modeling, Semantic Model Definition and Star Schema Construction
    • Machine Learning
    • Visualization Tool Experience Such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
    • Analysis Services (SSAS - Tabular cubes)
    • Reporting Services (SSRS)
    • C# / ASP.NET
    • Automation tools such as UiPath, Alteryx, etc.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills



Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

California Range: $20.00/hr - $39.00/hr
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $20.00/hr - $36.00/hr
Washington Range: $20.00/hr - $39.00/hr
