Position Title: Production Associate
Wage: $16.50/Hour Shifts: 1st Shift Hours: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM Tuesday - Friday Plus OT QPS Employment Group is hiring MANY production associates to join the manufacturing team at a local busy company. These positions are seasonal and expected to last 4-7+ months. As a production associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of products while contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment. Production Associate Responsibilities: - Operate assigned equipment while adhering to standard work practices - Use various tools to cut, process, and assemble window components - Handle materials, pack, and label finished goods - Inspect products and equipment for quality and defects - Maintain a safe and clean work environment while following safety standards - Load machines, prepare labels, and support additional projects as needed - Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment - Perform additional duties as assigned, including housekeeping and cross-training across multiple production lines Requirements for Production Associate: - Candidates must submit a resume demonstrating 1-2 years of related manufacturing experience and be able to pass a ruler reading test - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willingness to learn multiple areas of operations - Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team - Clear communication skills; bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus - Willingness to cross-train and develop new skills - A commitment to teamwork and a diverse work environment - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout shift - Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching - Work in varying temperature-controlled environments - Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
