Senior Network Engineer North Chicago, IL Pay From $105, 000/yr MUST Active DoD Secret clearance Experienced Senior Network Engineer 8+ years of overall Network administration experience 6+ years of routing and design 6+ years of experience load balancer experience 6+ years of experience working with Firewalls, IPS/IDS and VPNs Experience with network and systems monitoring and logging tools (Syslog, SNMP, WUG) Experience installing, configuring, governing, troubleshooting and tuning Cisco routers and L2/L3 switches Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls preferred Exceptional MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills Excellent communication skills both written and verbal CCNA certification within 90 days of start Bachelors Degree (preferred) DUTIES: Design and support LAN/WAN infrastructure. Manage network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, proxies, and load balancing technology Be able to take a technology you haven't seen before and immerse yourself in it Be a mentor; share knowledge with the team and train others Perform requirements analysis of network functions and determination of level of effort for reports development.
