As a full time, nonexempt, CPS Staff Pharmacist, you will ensure accuracy on medication distribution to Omnicell; ensure removal of expired medication; assist in inventory management; assist in pharmacy audit functions; resolve or provide guidance to the hospital clinical staff; and maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances.This position will serve as the Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) for the Rigsby and Converse locations.

Schedule: This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, day shift.

Starting Pay: $62.00 to $66.00 per hour, based on experience.

CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

Required Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
  • Current Pharmacist license in good standing in TX
  • Experience as a Pharmacist in aHospital setting preferred
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
  • Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
  • Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
  • Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements:

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer provingimmunity
  • Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
  • HepB3 Series(or declination)
  • TDAP within the last 10 years
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
  • COVID Vaccine or approved exemption
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
