Overview: Graduate Internships

Heritage is now accepting applications for onsite internship opportunities from Masters' level students with areas of concentration in social work, criminal justice, substance use/mental health counseling, psychology, or human development counseling. Opportunities are available through our Heritage offices located in Decatur, in Central Illinois.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ideal candidates will be highly motivated, organized and flexible to meet the needs of the individuals for which we serve.
• Previous exposure to the mentally ill or substance using population will be beneficial.

Education and Experience:

• A valid driver's license, reliable means of transportation, and proof of automobile insurance are required.
• All final candidates are required to complete pre-employment criminal background check and drug testing
• Bachelors' degree transcripts must be provided prior to being offered an internship.
