Description Join the team as an Advanced Practice Provider (FNP) for Pediatric and Adult Congenital Electrophysiology The NP functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs). By using the SPs the NP is able to change treatment regimen after observing signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to treatment, general behavior and physical condition and determines if they are abnormal findings (Ca Nursing Practice Act, subsection(b)of Section 2725). The NP will provide and coordinate the care of congenital heart patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals and documents services rendered. *This is one Advanced Practice Provider position that will be filled be either a PA or NP Salary range: $89.06- $127.19 /Hourly Qualifications CA RN and CA NP License- required MSN/DNP with FNP Specialty- required BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross -required ACLS and PALS from American Heart Association-required National Certification in NP Specialty- required A minimum of 2 years cardiac experience in a RN or NP role-required Previous NP experience - required Previous Electrophysiology experience - preferred State of CA NP Furnishing with Schedule II, NPI#, DEA#, Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES- required Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs- required Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-required Skill in working independently and following through with minimum directions -required Ability to set priorities- required Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailedand grammatically correct correspondence-required Document patient care in an concise and comprehensivemanner-required NPII: 6+ months experience as NP
