We're seeking a future team member for the role of Trade Surveillance Application Manager to join our Compliance Engineering, Corporate Engineering team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL - HYBRID. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Manage Trade Surveillance Applications: Oversee the development, deployment, and support of trade surveillance applications to ensure they meet the organization's regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects related to trade surveillance application enhancements, upgrades, and new implementations. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including compliance, IT, and trading desks, to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- System Integration: Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate trade surveillance applications with other systems and data sources.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure trade surveillance applications adhere to regulatory standards and requirements. Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary updates to applications.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of trade surveillance applications, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize functionality and efficiency.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users of trade surveillance applications. Develop and maintain documentation and training materials.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in trade surveillance processes and applications. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance effectiveness.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred.
- 10 + years of experience in systems analysis and program development with related supervisory, management and administrative experience required, experience in the securities or financial services industries is a plus.
- Deep understanding of Trade Surveillance systems required.
- Advanced Project Management skills preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
