What You Will Do:

The Student Affairs Program Manager oversees a range of student leadership and engagement programs, ensuring they contribute to student development and engagement. This role is pivotal in managing program life cycles, facilitating focus groups, and leading space management initiatives.

This is a full-time temporary position through July 31st, 2025 or other date as determined by administration.



Essential Responsibilities

    Program Leadership and Oversight: Manage and enhance major student programs such as Golden Eagle Leaders (GEL) and the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). Ensure program objectives align with student development goals.
  • Lincoln Laureate Coordination: Oversee the nomination and selection process for the Lincoln Laureate, adhering to deadlines.
  • Focus Group Facilitation: Conduct and manage student focus groups to integrate student feedback into program improvements.
  • Space Management: Manage the reservation and maintenance of student spaces such as Unity Commons and the Prayer Room.
  • Committee Involvement: Actively participate in the Programming Excellence Committee to influence programmatic decisions.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in student program management within a higher education setting.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail.

The salary range of the grade for this position is $45,986 to $64,380 annually. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. Offers are based on multiple factors permitted by law, including but not limited to: budgetary considerations, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, market considerations, tenure and standing with the university (applicable to current employees), and internal equity.
