Description
The Commissioning Technician is responsible for performing jobs involving the installation, start up, and commissioning of EPG sales projects. In addition, this position may provide technical assistance as requested by other technicians in a positive and efficient manner. This position will be responsible for the in-field implementation of automated controls, the installation or repair of generator enclosure/package accessories, and any testing or documentation required for the commissioning of various types of power generation equipment. In addition, this position may require the maintenance and testing of ATSs, UPSs, Paralleling Switchgear; Utility and Distribution Switchgear up to 35Kv. Extensive on the job training, classroom instruction, and e-learning must be successfully completed to remain in the technician training program. The individual in this position will demonstrate safety, initiative, commitment to teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service, and dedication to finding solutions in an efficient manner. This person will advance in classification as attitude, skill level, and job performance allows. ________________________________________ Essential Responsibilities & Expectations
Minimum Education Requirements: High school diploma with 2-6 years' experience with Power Generation Equipment: diesel, natural gas, or steam driven turbines; paralleling switchgear; ATSs; and UPSs Education
Technical/other training (required)
High School or Equivalent (required) Experience
A minimum of one (1) year - three (3) years' experience with Power Generation Equipment: Diesel, Natural Gas, or Steam driven turbines; Paralleling Switchgear; ATSs; and UPSs (required)
