Job Summary: The People & Culture Curriculum Specialist, National Leadership Development, supports Leadership Development learning programs in alignment with key firm and business lines initiatives. The primary responsibilities of this role are researching, overseeing, designing, writing, and facilitating national leadership development curriculum and training programs. Job Duties:
- Leverages the internal instructional design team to scope, design and develop leadership development courses and other learning resources on topics including communication, negotiations, conflict management, leadership, time management, supervisory skills, relationship development/networking and coaching skills training; design solutions may include blended and multi-media solutions
- Leads and oversees the design and writing of sessions within core leadership curriculum and milestone training programs, including:
- pre and post work for training programs
- case studies/role plays with vendors to personalize the program to BDO, as needed
- leadership focused training and resources for primary business line and core business services groups
- Reviews and approves instructor-led training documentation and materials, including instructor materials, student handouts, student exercises, presentation materials, end user guides
- Ensures assigned program and design projects are delivered on time and with the highest quality possible
- Generates innovative ideas on ways the National Leadership Development team can make firm leadership development programs and resources available to the firm's professionals
- Makes recommendations on ways to improve the quality of Leadership Development programs based on data gathered and additional industry research conducted
- Recommends appropriate instructional delivery platforms with the support of the instructional design team
- Facilitates in-person and virtual training, as needed
- Prepares other facilitators and client service professionals through Train-the-Trainer sessions
- Assists in other firm training, as needed

Supervisory Skills:
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Education:
- Bachelor's degree, required; focus in Communication, Instructional Design, Education, or Organizational Development, preferred
Experience:
- Three (3) or more years of experience in curriculum development, in-person and virtual facilitation/training, and adult learning theory and assessment, required
- Experience applying adult learning theory and assessment, required
- Experience in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, required
- Experience in a professional services firm, preferred
License/Certifications:
Software:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, required
- Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, required
- Experience with SharePoint, preferred
