Air Liquide Electronics innovative electronic materials respond to increasingly challenging customer demands for improved mobility, connectivity, computing power and energy consumption. On site, manufacturers rely on our expertise in providing full management of these gases, advanced molecules and equipment and in helping to continuously improve production processes.

The Advanced Equipment Systems Division (AES) is a focused group within the larger Air Liquide Electronics (ALE) organization that specializes in providing chemical and specialty gas management equipment solutions. Team members are chemical and mechanical engineers, electrical and controls engineers, programmers, manufacturing technicians and field service engineers. The core expertise of this team includes everything related to the delivery of process molecules: equipment design, material compatibility, safety requirements, component selection, controls design and integration, flow and pressure optimization, installation and start-up, and turnkey project management.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Product Specialist will be responsible for managing customer requests for information and proposals related to gas equipment, coordinating with overseas factories to develop gas equipment proposals, assisting team with gathering VOC from customer contacts, and be the main point of contact for customer questions and issues related to gas equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with our customer's technical staff to identify their key equipment, technology and functionality requirements and current and future product needs.

  • Act independently to make equipment recommendations to customers based on their applicationsknowledge.

  • Document and organize Voice of Customer information to support the development of product roadmapsand strategic plans.

  • Write technical specifications for gas and chemical equipment to comply with locally and nationallyrecognized codes, standards, and engineering practices and meet client's design and performancecriteria.

  • Technical coordinator and resource linking US customers, AES and ALES for equipment specification,manufacturing and support issues.

  • Support continuous improvement of E&I equipment solutions, the benchmarking of the offers of ourcompetitors and business development efforts (development and proposal activities).

  • Participate in design, safety and quality reviews of new and existing equipment systems.

  • Consult with clients and co-workers on subjects within your areas of expertise.

  • Follow-up after field installation, startup and qualification of equipment solutions to validatecustomer requirements and expectations are met.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary to meet the needs of internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years similar experience in semiconductor or related industry.

  • Strong technical knowledge of fluid dynamics and the flow and pressure capabilities ofchemical and gas dispensing equipment.

  • Strong knowledge of typical ultra-high purity gas and/or chemical system design and operation

  • Strong technical knowledge of specialized equipment, piping, and components used withinultra-high purity gas and/or chemical service.

  • Strong knowledge of customer's applications for equipment use in their semiconductor manufacturing process.

  • Knowledge of equipment PLC controls, including the ability to read ladder logic and structured text code.

  • Ability to read engineering drawings, including the use of 2D CAD software to review mechanicaland electrical schematics.

  • Strong communication skills with clients, contractors, and coworkers.

  • Proficient in the use of Google apps and MS Office software, including Microsoft Project andVisio.

The Salary rate range for this position in Texas is $100,000.00 to $110,000.00
