70% FTE, 8 hour day/evening shift with rotating start times between 5:15am - 10:30am. No weekends or holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking a Pre/Post Registered Nurse (RN) in the Ambulatory Procedure Center (APC) to: Provide care to patients having outpatient surgical procedures, inpatient and outpatient GI and Bronchoscopy procedures. Establish goals and strategies for meeting the discharge or continuing care needs of the patient, family, and/or other care provider. Qualifications Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred Work Experience 6 months of RN experience Required Experience working pre/post operatively with varied surgical patient populations Preferred Emergency nursing, critical care, medical/surgical, or ambulatory surgery center experience Preferred Moderate sedation and cardiac monitoring experience Preferred 1 year or more of RN experience Preferred Licenses & Certifications Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Upon Hire Required Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Upon Hire Required Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion UW Health is committed to being a diverse, inclusive and anti-racist workplace and is an Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
