Summary:

In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and privacy of our systems and data in the ever-evolving healthcare industry. You will lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge information security policies and procedures to protect our sensitive data and sustems. You will identify emerging security threats, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate information security into the development of innovative healthcare solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security weaknesses, and work closely with stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
• Lead incident response efforts, investigate and resolve security breaches, and implement measures to prevent future incidents.
• Train team members on information security best practices to reinforce and build on a culture of security awareness and vigilance.
• Stay abreast with the latest healthcare regulations, such as Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Health Information Trust Alliance (HITRUST), and ensure our organization remains compliant.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and enhancing our information security policies, processes, and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field highly preferred.
• 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
• Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Security+, or similar preferred.
• Experience in highly regulated industry such as Healthcare, banking, and finance highly preferred.
• Skilled at collaborating with multiple teams, gaining support and buy-in, and evangelizing security across a distributed and hybrid environment.
• Experience working with and leveraging AI tools and technologies preferred.
• Willingness to travel.
• You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
