What you'll do:



  • Reporting to the VP, Product, you will work collaboratively with and as a member of our senior leadership team across the company to lead product strategy and execution as it relates to our inventory products - Deal Desk, Price Discovery & Provisioning API, Open Path, the Open Market, Sellers & Publishers 500, and Blue List.


  • Help design measurable tactical and strategic indicators of success that include data-driven inputs and outputs that will help serve expected growth.


  • Scaling a high-performing and mission-driven Product Management team. Building, hiring, coaching, developing and retaining the PM leadership of today and the future.


  • Set the roadmap for TTD's inventory products that take the business' current and future needs into account.


  • Partner with UX/UI, Engineering, Inventory Development, and Inventory Operations to develop and execute the product roadmap with the ultimate goal of increasing adoption and revenue as a result.


  • Partner with engineering & design to build a culture of empowered product team where all roles excel together and deliver as a single team. Be a great partner to sales and operations - support, listen, guide and enable.


  • Define and deliver the product vision in collaboration with all stakeholders and ensure alignment across the entire organization.


  • Establish and maintain product lifecycle: discovery, shaping, execution, and sunset, ensuring stakeholders have commensurate visibility and involvement, with adequate tooling to measure performance.


Who you are:



  • Experience in product leadership at a high-tech or SaaS software company


  • Ability to think and operate at a "strategic level," but maniacally driven towards execution with the willingness to roll-up your sleeves


  • History of building and coaching high-performing teams who are motivated to do better and think bigger


  • Data-driven mindset and highly analytical with the desire and ability to dig into metrics to derive insights


  • Effectively influence, partner, and communicate cross-functionally with design, engineering, and financial business teams across a company to set and deliver on product vision


  • Strong awareness of technology trends and potential influence on the current and future business


  • Ideally have experience working with inventory teams and publishers, couple with experience developing, managing, and communicating AdTech products


  • A problem solver, with a proven record of accomplishment of solving complex technical problems as part of a comprehensive forward looking product roadmap


  • A deep appreciation and understanding of the intersection of Authentication, Identity, Security, Trust, and Marketplace Quality.

NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only: In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$208,800 $382,700 USD
