Quality Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ Job ID: #70733 Pay Range: $20-25 ph (W2) Duration: 6 mos Supports quality improvement relevant to the Repair & Overhaul processes. Overseeing the quality of repairs through the Operations Value Streams. Collaborate with engineering and Operations teams to identify areas for process improvement, implement changes, and monitor their effectiveness. Enforce safety regulation and promote a safe working environment. Analyze quality data collected from inspections to identify trends, root causes of defects, and implement corrective actions. Investigate and resolve quality issues promptly, including identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders. Communicate quality concerns to team, address customer complaints, and work to prevent future quality issues Maintain detailed records of quality inspection results, non-conformances, corrective actions, and other quality metrics Create quality documentation Other assignments as directed by Quality Manager. Education: Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Understanding of operations processes and quality control methodologies Experience in data analysis and problem-solving Excellent communication skills to effectively be part of a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments Ability to interpret engineering drawings, manuals and specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role in the manufacturing environment Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
