We are looking for a VP, Business Continuity/Recovery II to join the BNY team. This role can be located in Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA - Hybrid
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Responsible for the ongoing, independent oversight of complex business resiliency activities and incident management process governance. Drives the continuous improvement of the incident management process by standardizing major incident responses, tracking and reporting on trends and working to complete Root Cause Analysis with incident owners in a timely manner. Assists with the assessment of and reporting on key indicators of business continuity and recovery preparedness. Plans for standard business continuity risks and contributes to the group's activities to address any control gaps. Supports the Business Resiliency Lead to ensure the platform is meeting both client and regulatory requirements related to business continuity and incident management. This includes providing training and awareness on required deliverables, tracking and monitoring for completion, conducting quality assurance reviews and reporting back to management, as required. Consistently contributes to cross-functional efforts to promote a strong business continuity & recovery culture throughout the organization. Assists with the drafting of the master resolution and recovery playbook for the organization, including documenting actions to be taken in the event of a crisis or bankruptcy. No direct reports. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 7-10 years of total work experience preferred. At BNY, our culture speaks for itself. BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $81,000 and $149,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
